HELLO Buriram!!!

This is Elder Body-My new companion!

 Nuey's baptism.
We sang a special musical number for it.

Weekly Update:
So this week I officially moved to Buriram! It seems very similar to Surin, except a few years ago, Buriram had a massive soccer stadium built, so it began to grow much faster than Surin.

This is my first week I have been senior companion, or when I have been out on the mission longer than my companion! I definitely have more experience than my companion has, so I have to lead a lot more things. I love it so much! I think it is more fun having responsibilities that push me. It keeps things interesting and keeps me on my toes. One thing that my companion is definitely better than me at is speaking Thai. He is from Thailand =D and has lived here his whole life, so he is naturally better than me at Thai haha. I am learning from him just as much as he is learning from me. It is way fun!

One thing that I have heard from missionaries over and over is that if you want to find success, there is no secret. You just have to work your very hardest and the miracles will come. I know for a fact that is the truth. So here goes to working my hardest at all times!

We have spent basically this last whole week inviting, and we found so many miracles. On one single street, we found 4 different families who agreed to meet with us again. They were all super nice and had small children. It is so much fun being able to teach families instead of just a single person. They can all support each other and feel the love of God stronger. Families are central to God's plan.

We were trying to find an investigator where we had her address to her neighborhood and her name, but neither of us knew what she looked like. We rode around this neighborhood just asking some people if they knew this lady, and we just got a ton of no's, but all of the sudden there was a lady that said she knew her. We asked where she lived and she said, "oh she is my neighbor, but she died a few days ago." We dropped our mouths. It blew my mind, but we had a super long talk to this lady about it for a while and she agreed to meet again with us next week.

My first Sunday here was way fun! I got to meet all of the members and they were all so nice. I shared my testimony and they all accepted me fairly well. I can always get people to laugh if I just joke about being tall. They love that for some reason.

We have an investigator who is a very young girl, and she comes to church every Sunday with her Grandma. She is extremely hyper and loves playing with us. Her name is Alice. I can always see the light of Christ in her. Children are always good at having that love in their eyes and I think everyone could try to be more like a child sometimes and just be spontaneous and happy. That is something that I hope I never lose in my attitude.
Everyone have a wonderful week!
